KCWA Dance School - Rules and Regulations

1. Attendance & Punctuality

* Arrive at least 10 minutes before class to warm up and prepare.

* Consistent attendance is expected; notify the instructor in advance if you will miss a session.

* Late arrivals may not be permitted to join once the class has started to avoid disruption.

2. Dress Code

* Wear appropriate dance attire (approved uniforms).

* Hair should be neatly tied back; jewelry and accessories are not allowed for safety reasons.

3. Classroom Etiquette

* Respect the instructor and fellow dancers at all times.

* No talking or distracting behavior during instruction.

* Mobile phones must be switched off or silenced during class.

* Food and drinks are not allowed inside the studio (water bottles permitted).

4. Safety & Conduct

* Warm up properly before dancing to prevent injuries.

* Follow all instructions carefully.

* Report any injuries immediately to the instructor.

* Bullying, disrespect, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

5. Studio Rules

* Keep the studio clean; dispose of trash properly.

* Personal belongings should be stored neatly in designated areas.

* Parents/guardians are not permitted inside the studio during class unless invited.

6. Commitment & Discipline

* Practice outside of class is encouraged to improve skills.

* Maintain a positive attitude and support fellow dancers.

* Respect rehearsal schedules, performance commitments, and deadlines.

* Students must adhere to performance and exam guidelines set by the teacher.

7. Administrative Policies

*All students to complete online registration form before joining the dance class.

*Tuition fees must be paid on time. A standing order should be made every first week of the month. (Reference should be the student's first name and the first 3 letters of the relevant month.)

* Registration forms and waivers must be completed before joining.

* Students who are stopping or pausing dance class should give one month's notice in advance.

* Students who are absent for holidays are still required to pay the fees for that month.

* Dance tuition fees are set at £540 per year, payable at £45 per month.

* KCWA will ensure a minimum of 48 weekly lessons per year.

* Pay-per-lesson options are not available for students.
